If you are looking to work with the coolest family in the south, then you have come to the right place.

Hi, we’re Hannah and Desi! We live in Louisiana with our son Finley, four cats and two dogs, and we make content about the real, beautiful, messy life of a two-mom family. Desi left tech to run It’s the Sterlings full time, and Hannah is an ER nurse on her way to becoming a nurse practitioner. So when we say we’re juggling more than we should, we mean it.

We’re family content creators, and we partner with brands, small businesses and tourism offices who want a real family to use their thing and talk about it the way we’d tell a friend. Every brand is different, so tell us what you are looking for and we’ll shape the work around it.

Where we post

That’s 61K followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, plus over 40K monthly views on Pinterest. Our reels usually land anywhere from 3,000 to 25,000 views. We have our good days and our bad.

Who follows along

Our followers are everyday people: the doers, the parents and the travelers. We aren’t trying to make things over fancy, and we aren’t trying to sell you that life is perfect. Everyday. Normal stuff.

That’s what we make: the toddler stages, the trips, the easy dinners and the DIY projects that almost work the first time.

Parenting & Baby

Finley is our whole world, and our toughest product tester. We share the everyday with a toddler: sleep, routines, first foods, the gear that makes our days easier, and the money moves we’re making for his future, like starting his 529. If it lives in a house with a toddler, we probably have opinions.

Travel

We love to travel. Whether it’s a weekend getaway, a staycation, or a full blown travel week, we are all game. One of the promises that we made to each other was that when we had a baby, we would not stop traveling. Hannah and I have been extremely lucky to go out of the country every year (fun fact: our third date was out of the country). We would love to showcase how a family (even the dogs if needed) can love your restaurant, town, activity, and much more!

We travel as an LGBTQ+ family with a toddler, so we notice what other families want to know. Is it stroller friendly? Will we feel welcome? Where do you eat with a little one? What would we do differently next time? A few of our guides:

We love to work with DMOs (a town or region’s tourism office) and travel agencies of every size. Saugatuck, Michigan was one of the first to believe in us. It was our learning trip, and it made us fall in love with DMO partnerships. The videos we posted from it got over 10K shares. Real families sell.

The everyday stuff between the big moments: getting ready with a toddler underfoot, home projects like our $670 pea gravel patio, and the little things that make a normal day feel special.

Food & Bev

Real food for busy families. Toddler approved recipes like our 5 ingredient banana pancakes and sourdough discard cookies, plus the restaurants we’d send a friend to. Restaurants and food brands, we would love to bring the whole crew.

Long Form on YouTube

For trips and bigger stories, we go long: how we travel light with a baby, a Four Seasons weekend in Punta Mita, Saugatuck for a weekend, and our day at Universal Studios. A YouTube video can sit inside a blog post too, so one trip can show up across all of our channels.

About pricing

We do not give out generic pricing, and that’s on purpose. We understand that some small businesses cannot afford higher ticketed items, so we would rather build something that fits you. We love to partner long term and work out an amazing social media strategy for you.
