Ingredients

  • 3 dozen donut holes bakery or boxed
  • 1 box powdered mini donuts the sharing size, about 10 oz
  • 1 handful fresh cranberries not frozen
  • a few rosemary sprigs
  • powdered sugar optional

Equipment

  • Small foam wreath (about 12 inches)
  • plastic wrap
  • Toothpicks
  • Cutting board or platter

Method

  1. Wrap the foam wreath all the way around in plastic wrap.
  2. Poke toothpicks into the top and sides of the wreath.
  3. Press donut holes onto the toothpicks.
  4. Add the powdered mini donuts, switching between the two as you go.
  5. Tuck rosemary sprigs and cranberries into the gaps, and set a cranberry in the hole of a few powdered donuts.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar if you want, and set it on a cutting board to serve.

Notes

Bakery donut holes or a box from the store both work. Chocolate donuts work too.
Build it the day you serve it so the donuts stay soft.
Toothpicks, whole cranberries and rosemary sprigs aren't for little ones to grab on their own. Pull a donut off for them.
